THE REAL DEMISE follows florist Violet Demise, who is forced into her sister Scarlett's wedding dress after Scarlett flees her own engagement. Instead of being exposed, Violet is publicly recognized by Vance heir Declan Vance, who offers her a three-month partner contract. Using this fake engagement as a door into the Vance family, Violet investigates her father's death at Shaft Three. Old notes, a sixpence coin, a hidden recording, and drainage-pipe evidence gradually reveal that her father refused to sign an altered water report, was taken away by Harold Vance, and redirected to Shaft Three by Colin Ashford. With Scarlett, Ray Price, and Declan, Violet exposes Ashford's shell-company fraud, personal guarantee scheme, and the cover-up that destroyed her family. She saves Frankfort, forces Vance to admit its debt, and finally chooses to stay on her own terms—as Violet Demise.
