Three years after the Castillo family massacre in Colombia, survivor Isa infiltrates her enemy's nightclub as a dancer to kill new godfather Alejandro. He recognizes her instantly——but doesn't expose her. He keeps her close. She despises him, until she discovers he's been protecting her amnesiac sister for three years. In a rainstorm, he takes thirty holy lashes for her. She holds a knife to his throat——but can't strike. Because on the night of the massacre, he was the one who saved her from the closet. Truth shatters hatred. They kill the real masterminds together——the old godfather and a corrupt general. He gives up everything, disappears, and one day walks into her seaside café in Cartagena. In the rain, their hands finally meet.
